Terms of use

These terms apply when you use NZMAI Academy, run by NZ Mortgage Adviser Institute Limited (NZMAI). By creating an account you agree to them.

Your account

• Give us accurate details and keep your password to yourself.
• Your account is for you only. Do not let anyone else do your learning or assessments.

Courses and payment

• Paid courses are bought on nzmai.co.nz. Refunds and cancellations follow NZMAI's terms there.
• If an enrolment is cancelled, you lose access to that course.

The AI tutor and assessments

• The AI tutor helps you learn. It can make mistakes and is not financial, legal or lending advice.
• Your answers must be your own work. Trying to get answers from the tutor, or to change its rules, may be flagged and reviewed by our staff.
• We may review, uphold or overturn a result, and we may revoke a certificate that was issued in error or obtained unfairly.

Course material

Course material belongs to NZMAI or its partners. You may use it for your own learning but not copy, share or sell it. Sample documents in courses are fictional training data.

How we handle your information is set out in our privacy notice.
